O estudo do EBITDA no Grupo Almedina

Abstract

Faz sentido considerar no cálculo do EBITDA todas as rubricas atualmente incluídas?

Nowadays, companies are becoming more and more concerned with the actual economic situation, so they tend to envisage increasingly the future through indicators of economic and financial performance. This report aims to analyze one of the indicators most often used by the management and direction, the EBITDA. With the change from POC to SNC, the method for calculating this indicator brought some controversy. The most relevant are the items that contribute to its calculation. Some argue that all items make sense in the calculation of the EBITDA and others do not, as they argue that not all items make sense. How does this indicator vary due to the items of the results statement? Does it make sense to include all the items in the calculation of the EBITDA? These are the topics we will study further in the third part of the report.
