Abstract

A morte súbita cardíaca define-se como a morte que surge nos primeiros sessenta minutos após o início ou o agravamento de sinais ou sintomas de doença cardiovascular. No jovem, a causa de morte súbita cardíaca está, maioritariamente, relacionada com as miocardiopatias (miocardiopatia hipertrófica, cardiomiopatia arritmogénica do ventrículo direito) e as doenças dos canais iónicos (síndrome do QT longo, síndrome do QT curto e síndrome de Brugada). Esta revisão bibliográfica irá incidir na miocardiopatia hipertrófica, cardiomiopatia arritmogénica do ventrículo direito, síndrome do QT longo, síndrome do QT curto e síndrome de Brugada. Referindo para cada uma destas patologias cardíacas a etiologia, manifestações clínicas, diagnóstico, tratamento e o risco de morte súbita cardíaca
