Hipertexto como Metalivro

Abstract

A reprodução electrónica e a criação de redes de servidores e de computadores pessoais permitiu criar scriptoria digitais em que autores e leitores colaboram na produção de hipertextos e hiperligações, associando formas textuais fora do horizonte definido pela reprodução tipográfica. O desenvolvimento de aplicações gráficas e de processamento de texto diversas permitiu o surgimento de formas específicas de textualidade digital. Este ensaio segue dois trajectos cruzados: o trajecto definido pela transposição de formas bibliográficas para o meio digital, em particular através de edições electrónicas e de arquivos em linha de obras do património literário, que designo hiperedição; e o trajecto definido pela utilização dos recursos do ambiente digital para a produção literária, que designo hiperpoesia e hiperficção. Ambos os trajectos parecem convergir no metalivro, isto é, na criação de uma forma que expõe e transcende numa segunda ordem de representação a semiótica particular do códice, reconstelando as relações textuais num espaço não coincidente com a ordem bibliográfica.
