Abstract

The present study aims to analyse the problem of some ethical dilemmas a teacher face in a perspective of half shared reflection and collaborative work through one of the most powerful media of the technological age, the Internet, more specifically, a social net, the Facebook. In a explorative and essentially descriptive boarding, this dissertation intends to find indications for the following question: “In a virtual community of the Facebook, according to the pedagogical model of SG, is it possible to establish a shared reflection concerning the teachers’ practices and a flexible construction of the knowledge of the professional ethics?” On the basis of Cognitive Flexibility Theory, and as a strategy of our research, we establish the proposal of using a narrative as a reflexive instrument about dilemmas/tensions of the teaching profession. To make a shared reflection possible we decide to create a group in the virtual net Facebook according to model of Gilly Salmon. Our question raised two other more specific questions: Q1- According to the pedagogical model of Gilly Salmon will the Group “Momentos na Vida de um Professor”, be an adequate context of formation?” Q2- Will the narrative “Profissão Cusca” be an adequate instrument to the teachers’ promotion of a critical and dilemmatic look in relation to more personal questions existing in questionnaires done by the school/teacher? “ The result of this study is essentially the description of a whole process of exploration of a way and scene of inquiry, not yet sufficiently explored, but presenting considerable and valuable resources that can offer much information as far as teachers’ formation is concerned.
