O turismo nos dias de hoje tenta ir ao encontro à sustentabilidade, centrada nos aspetos ambientais, económicos e sociais, garantindo não só valores essenciais ao desenvolvimento das comunidades locais, como potencializando as experiências dos visitantes num destino turístico. Neste denominado turismo sustentável, ainda existe muito trabalho a realizar de modo a descompor o usual turismo sustentável centrado apenas nas questões turísticas e ambientais. Assim sendo, através deste estágio, com apoio empírico do estudo, pretendeu-se avaliar os produtos centrais de geoturismo de um geoparque, com o intuito de potencializar os produtos turísticos da região, e avaliar a perspetiva da comunidade local de Pallars Jussà, com intuito de desenvolver uma cultura sustentável nos produtos turísticos, aperfeiçoar os valores educativos e desenvolver uma rede de mobilidade mais sustentável em Pallars Jussà/Geoparc Orígens. O presente relatório de estágio tem como principal intuito a reflexão dos conhecimentos adquiridos no estágio curricular no Geoparc Orígens als Pirineus Catalans UNESCO, situado maioritariamente sobre a comunidade de Pallars Jussà. O estudo empírico foi centrado na análise de artigos científicos e na elaboração de um inquérito por questionário que obteve 276 respostas, com principal intuito em entender a perspetiva da comunidade local acerca dos produtos centrais de Pallars Jussà/Geoparc Orígens, das motivações de visita no território, e nas questões de mobilidade e mobilidade sustentável no território, temas estes centrais ao desenvolvimento do geoparque. Os resultados obtidos permitem perceber qual é a perspetiva da comunidade local de Pallars Jussà relativamente a questões que envolvem o seu território, com o objetivo final de estruturar um conjunto de ideias/iniciativas capazes de colmatar os problemas e impulsionar o território. Além disso, este relatório apresenta dados, ideias e soluções práticas para o Geoparc Orígens, no sentido de se conseguir melhorar o território onde se inserem, Pallars Jussà. Conseguimos aferir que o território em estudo tem um vasto leque de produtos turísticos centrados nas georotas, que se mostram capazes de não só melhorar a qualidade de vida da comunidade local, como também ser um motor central ao desenvolvimento geral de região. Contudo, é essencial continuar focado em melhorar as estratégias de geoturismo, a melhoria das georotas do geoparque e aprimorar a rede de mobilidade de Pallars Jussà para que este território se torne cada vez mais desenvolvido e sustentável.

Tourism nowadays tries to meet sustainability, focused on environmental, economic and social aspects, ensuring not only essential values for the development of local communities, but also enhancing the experiences of visitors in a tourist destination. In this so-called sustainable tourism, there is still a lot of work to be done in order to break down the usual sustainable tourism focused only on tourism and environmental issues. Therefore, through this internship, with empirical support from the study, it was intended to evaluate the central geotourism products of a geopark, in order to enhance the tourism products of the region, and to evaluate the perspective of the local community of Pallars Jussà, in order to develop a sustainable culture in tourism products, improve educational values and develop a more sustainable mobility network in Pallars Jussà/Geoparc Orígens. The main purpose of this internship report is to reflect on the knowledge acquired in the curricular internship at the Geoparc Orígens als Pyrenees Catalans UNESCO, located mainly on the community of Pallars Jussà. The empirical study was focused on the analysis of scientific articles and the elaboration of a questionnaire survey that obtained 276 responses, with the main purpose of understanding the perspective of the local community about the central products of Pallars Jussà/Geoparc Orígens, the motivations for visiting the territory, and the issues of mobility and sustainable mobility in the territory, These themes are central to the development of the Geopark. The results obtained allow us to understand the perspective of the local community of Pallars Jussà regarding issues involving its territory, with the ultimate goal of structuring a set of ideas/initiatives capable of overcoming the problems and boosting the territory. In addition, this report presents data, ideas and practical solutions for Geoparc Orígens, in order to improve the territory where they are located, Pallars Jussà. We were able to assess that the territory under study has a wide range of tourism products focused on georoutes, which are capable of not only improving the quality of life of the local community, but also being a central engine for the general development of the region. However, it is essential to remain focused on improving geotourism strategies, improving the georoutes of the geopark and improving the mobility network of Pallars Jussà so that this territory becomes increasingly developed and sustainable.
