Relatório de estágio- Mestrado em Psicologia Organizacional

Abstract

This report focuses on the work carried out during the Curricular Internship (CI) at Paul Stricker S.A., hereinafter Stricker. The internship took place as part of the Master's Degree in Organizational Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra. Under the role of academic supervisor, was assisted by Professor Teresa Rebelo and guided in the organization by the head of Talent Development. It lasted eight months and began on October 2, 2023 and ended on May 30, 2024. It took place on a face-to-face basis, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. During this course, I worked in the Human Resources (HR) Department, internally known as the People Department. Segmented into various teams- Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Skilling, People Support and Shared Services, I was able to work in the first three areas mentioned. This report begins with a brief presentation of the host organization and department, then moves on to an explanation of the tasks carried out, presenting the theoretical bases associated with them. By ending with a critical reflection on the journey undertaken, it aims to provide the reader with a perception, as a trainee, of my performance, development and opportunities for improvement identified at this stage. In general, the importance of this stage in the trainee's academic and personal growth is highlighted. Through the constant challenges and learning, it has provided with a wealth of knowledge that is essential for the start of professional practice.
