Emergindo na década de 1990, a teoria queer coloca-nos hoje estimulantes desafios teóricos, éticos e metodológicos. Com base na investigação realizada sobre o movimento lésbico, gay, bissexual e transgénero (LGBT) português entre 1998 e 2005, este artigo pretende reflectir sobre a emergência de uma recente categoria – a de heteroqueers, ou seja, heterossexuais que rejeitam activamente os privilégios associados à heteronormatividade – à luz de uma teoria queer feminista, identificando ganhos e riscos, e esperando contribuir para futuras pistas de investigação nesta área.
