A presente dissertação descreve a teoria que B. Latour desenvolveu a partir da pressuposição de que tudo está em relação de forças. O trabalho divide-se em quatro capítulos, sendo que cada um corresponde a uma etapa do trabalho de B. Latour, juntamente com um repensar de alguns temas da tradição filosófica. O objetivo da dissertação é expandir o que B. Latour desenvolveu a um aprofundamento filosófico e semear a curiosidade na exploração da teoria ator-rede no impacto que tem na constituição da ‘individualidade’.B. Latour iniciou por uma descrição semiótica de textos científicos, enunciando os actantes envolvidos na narrativa que dão realidade aos artigos científicos. Deste modo, a Ciência deixa de ser uma área objetivada do saber, para passar a ser descrita através das estratégias de actantes que constituem redes. Para compreender a formação das redes, o autor introduziu os conceitos de tradução, recrutamento e negociação nas provas de força e deu o exemplo da Revolução Pasteuriana.A partir da noção de rede, o autor elaborou a metafísica da força que permite fundamentar os princípios de existência e contraposição dos actantes, a estipulação do que é uma força e como as enteléquias se relacionam.Com as perguntas ontológicas esclarecidas, introduzo a divisão estabelecida pelo autor entre a Sociologia do social e a Sociologia das associações. Abordo a Sociologia de E. Durkheim para explorar a relação entre o indivíduo e a Sociedade segundo a Sociologia do social e a monadologia de G. Tarde para explorar a mesma conexão mas adotando a abordagem da Sociologia das associações, sendo que B. Latour se aproxima do modelo de G. Tarde.Concluo com a descrição dos modos de existência identificados por B. Latour, nos quais os actantes existem de um modo próprio à rede a que estão associados. A partir dos modos de existência, apresento um exemplo de uma ‘identidade’ instaurada por um actante ‘humano’.

The present dissertation describes the theory developed by B. Latour from the assumption that everything is involved in a relation of forces. The paper has four chapters, each corresponding to a stage in B. Latour's work and a rethinking of some themes of the philosophical tradition. The dissertation aims to philosophically deepen the actor-network theory and create curiosity about its impact on the constitution of 'individuality'.B. Latour started with a semiotic description of scientific texts, enunciating the actants involved in the narrative that give reality to scientific articles. In this way, Science ceases to be an objectified area of knowledge, to be described through the strategies of actants that constitute the networks. To understand the formation of the network, the author introduced the concepts of translation, recruitment, and negotiation in trials of strength and gave the example of the Pasteurian Revolution.Based on the notion of a network, the author elaborated the metaphysics of force that allows the foundation of the principles of existence and contraposition of actants, the stipulation of what a force is, and how the entelechies are related.Once the ontological questions are clarified, I introduce the division made by the author between the Sociology of the social and the Sociology of associations. I approach E. Durkheim's Sociology to explore the relationship between the individual and society according to the Sociology of the social and G. Tarde's monadology to explore the same issue by the approach of the Sociology of associations, with B. Latour approaching G. Tarde’s model.I conclude with a description of the modes of existence identified by B. Latour, in which the actants exist in a way specific to the network with which they are associated. Based on the modes of existence, I present an example of an 'identity' established by the 'human' actant.
