Abstract

Inserido no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Português no 3.º ciclo do Ensino Básico e Ensino Secundário, o estudo de caso que este relatório apresenta relaciona-se com a integração das artes visuais nas práticas pedagógicas da disciplina de Português enquanto tarefa capaz de promover, a partir da interrelação artística, uma compreensão textual mais consistente e aprofundada. A investigação foi desenvolvida junto de uma turma de 12.º ano do Curso Científico-Humanístico de Ciências e Tecnologias, e pretendeu-se responder às seguintes questões: (i) partindo do estabelecimento de relações entre a arte da palavra e outros tipos de arte – a pintura e o desenho –, em que medida é que os artefactos artísticos se podem aproximar ou distanciar semanticamente?; (ii) qual o grau de compreensão/interpretação que os alunos extraem do texto literário, com base no diálogo interartístico?; (iii) em que medida a compreensão/interpretação do texto literário beneficia da aproximação entre literatura e a arte visual? Neste relatório, procurou-se que a inclusão do diálogo interartístico nas aulas de Português fosse capaz de promover uma leitura comprometida do texto literário e a consolidação das aprendizagens literárias. A recolha e apuramento dos dados evidenciou que as diferentes aplicações didáticas desencadearam um impacto positivo, sendo que as respostas dos alunos, de um modo generalizado, mostraram um conhecimento pormenorizado e sagaz dos diferentes textos literários estudados. Foi, assim, possível comprovar os benefícios do diálogo interartístico para a Educação Literária.

Inserted in the scope of the Master in Teaching of Portuguese in the 3rd cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education, the case study that this report presents is related to the integration of visual arts in the pedagogical practices of the Portuguese discipline as a task capable of promoting, through the artistic interrelationship, a more consistent and profound textual understanding. The investigation was carried out with a 12th grade class of the Scientific-Humanistic Course of Sciences and Technologies, and it was intended to answer the following questions: (i) starting from the establishment of relations between the art of the word and other types of art – painting and drawing –, to what extent can artistic artifacts be semantically close or distant?; (ii) what degree of understanding/interpretation do students extract from the literary text, based on the interartistic dialogue?; (iii) to what extent does the understanding/interpretation of the literary text benefit from the approchement between literature and visual art? In this work, the aim was to ensure that the inclusion of interartistic dialogue in Portuguese classes was capable of promoting a committed reading of the literary text and the consolidation of literary learning. The collection and verification of data showed that the different didactic applications had a positive impact, and the students' responses, in general, showed a detailed and sagacious knowledge of the different literary texts studied. It was thus possible to prove the benefits of interartistic dialogue for Literary Education.
