IDEARQ: Una infraestructura de datos espaciales para la publicación de datos arqueológicos

Abstract

[ES]Desde el Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales se plantea la publicación online de tres importantes conjuntos de datos de carácter arqueológico: el Corpus de Pintura Rupestre Levantina, la Base de Datos de cronología radiocarbónica de la Península Ibérica (Dataciones de C-14) y la Base de Datos de Arqueometalurgia de la Península Ibérica, consistente en un conjunto de análisis elementales y de isótopos de plomo. En total se trata de un conjunto de datos relativos a unos 2000 yacimientos repartidos por toda la Península Ibérica con la que esperamos poner a disposición de investigadores y del público general una gran cantidad de datos, dentro de la filosofía Open Access de acceso libre y directo a los resultados de la investigación científica. Su publicación a través de una Infraestructura de Datos Espaciales supone también la creación de un Sistema de Información común mantenido y actualizado desde el propio CSIC, que tiene como referencia el Esquema de Aplicación de Patrimonio Cultural de INSPIRE realizado desde el Subgrupo de Trabajo Temático de Patrimonio Histórico de la IDEE. Para ello se confía en una implementación basada en PostgreSQL + PostGIS para la gestión de datos, Geoserver para la publicación de servicios OGC, básicamente un WMS y un WFS autenticado y QGIS como software de referencia para el trabajo de mantenimiento de los datos geográficos.

[EN]The Center for Humanities and Social Research of the National Research Council (CSIC) puts forward the dissemination of three relevant archaeological datasets: the Corpus de Pintura Rupestre Levantina, the Iberian Peninsula Radiocarbon Database and the Iberian Peninsula Archaeometallurgical Database, set up of elemental and lead isotopes analysis. It is a dataset comprising data of nearly 2000 archaeological sites spread all along the Iberian Peninsula that will make a great amount of data available to many experts as well as to the general public, according to the Open Access Initiative regarding free and straightforward access to the results of scientific research. The publication through a Spatial Data Infrastructure implies the set up of an common Information System managed and updated within the CSIC, that is an implementation of the INSPIRE Cultural Heritage Application Schema developed within the Grupo de Trabajo Temático de Patrimonio Cultural, inside the Spanish SDI Working Groups. The implementation is supported thoroughly on free software: PostgreSQL + PostGIS for data management, Geoserver to publish OGC-compliant web services, WMS and authenticated WFS, and QGIS as reference GIS software for geographical data maintenance.
