[ES] El gallo, rapante o meiga (Lepidorhombus boscii, RISSO) es un pez pleuronectiforme perteneciente a la familia de los Escoftálmidos y es por su interés comercial una de las especies de mayor importancia dentro de la pesquería demersal de la plataforma gallega. La mayor cantidad de esta especie desembarcada en los puertos gallegos procede de los bancos de Gran Sol y oeste de Irlanda, si bien en las descargas se presenta mezclada con otra especie más abundante en las capturas, que tiene parecida morfología externa y pertenece a la misma familia y género como es la especie Lepidorhombus wiffiagonis, WALBAUM.
