Abstract

[EN] The planktonic Ostracods from the region limiled by the Canary Islands, Meteor and Joseplilne Banks and Cape San Vicente were caught by the R/V Meteor during tlie 9C cruise, in 1967. The general distribution for the 23 species idemtofied in 34 samples belonging to 26 stations, is shown in table 1, only with indications of presence-absence. The species may be included in four of the ANGEL'S (1972) zoogeographic groups: Cosmopolitan; Atlanlic, Pacific and Indian Oceans; Bipolar; and Atlantic, Indian Oceans. [...] Conchoecia, Archiconchoecia, Halocypris, C. curta, C. oblonga, C. subarcuata, C. imbricata, C. rotundata, C. elegans, C. spinirrostris, C. parthenoda, C. bispinosa, C. alata, C. spinifera, H. inflata, A. striata, C. rhynchena, C. procera, C. acuminata, C. daphnoides, C. lophura, A. ventricosa, C. parvidentata, C. zestesios, C. valdiviae, C. obtusata [...]
