[EN] The aim of this article is the study of the Cuban historiography from the beginning of the Revolution (1959) until the present, so that researchers interested in the history of Cuba can know what lines has been followed up to now and what is the path in the future. I have divided the text in three parts that correspond with each one of the stages of the period. The last phase is integrated by the current historians; this generation has been preceded by that one who shared its youth with the victory of the Cuban Revolution, and the one that was educated at the university after the deep transformations happened in 1968.
