[EN] First year results of three irrigation systems (flooding, driping and sprinkling) are given for a peach (Prunus persica (L.) Batsch) orchard. The management problems of the three systems are discussed; the analysis of the changes in the soil water status measured with tensiometers and gypsum blocks and the plant water status measured with the pressure bomb. These results show that irrigation was more efficient with the flood and sprinkler systems, whereas with drip irrigation the water supply was defficient and the plants had to supplement it with a greater extraction from the soil water fraction.
