[EN] In the iconography of Saint Francis Borgia, he is normally shown wearing the habit of the Society of Jesus, institution of which he was a member and of which he became its third Superior General, some works stand out -to which we shall refer in this article-showing him as a knight of the Order of Santiago, to which he professed in 1540. With regard to this date we can make an interesting iconographic precision, for the saint cannot be shown wearing the uniform of a knight of the Santiago in the scene where he delivers the corpse of empress Isabella at the cathedral of Granada -as he is seen on several occasions-, since the death of the the sovereign took place one year before Borja took his vows as a knight of Santiago.
