Abstract

[EN] We present a study on the monthly distributions of the fishing effort and the catch per unit of effort (c.p.u.e.) of the Spanish fishing fleet engaged -from March 1972 through August 1975 - in the hakes (Merluccius sps.) and kingklip (Genypterus capensis) fisheries in the South East Atlantic grounds. [ES] La pesquería del Atlántico Sudoriental constituye actualmente una de ls más importantes explotaciones pesqueras del mundo, tanto en lo referente a especies bentónics como pelágicas. El Cuadro 1 indica claramente la importancia de ls capturas realizadas en la zona, tomando como ejemplo el año 1974. Destaca la merluza (Merluccius capensis y M. paradoxus con menores aprotaciones de M. polli), la sardina (Sardinops ocellata) y boquerón del Cabo (Engraulis capensis). [...]
