Abstract

La música d'Extremadura està influenciada per la de les regions veïnes. Existeix una gran varietat tonal, i una gran varietat de cançons de tipus narratiu pertanyents al "romancer". Així trobem els "arrorós", les "alboradas", i altres. La "jota" és el ball més extés a la regió, encara que amb diferències amb la de la resta d'Espanya.
