Abstract

[ES] Un ejemplar de Phrynichthys wedli Pietschmann, 1926, capturado en el Atlántico sudoriental, a una profundidad de 551 metros en la latitud de 24 04’S, señala una nueva localización, más al sur, a las ya indicadas por otros autores, ampliando, con esta cita, su distribución geográfica y batimétrica

[EN] A single specimen of Phrynichthys wedlii, was caught on the Atlantic coast of South Africa, in 351m (192ft) water depth, at 24º 04' S latitude. The present locality enlarges southward the previous geographical distribution area for that Diceratiidae species
