[EN] In this paper, the sardine resources of Catalan coastal waters are analyzed. The period studied covers the years between 1988 and 1991. The resource has a stable biomass and the fish stock is under exploited. Current fishing gear seems to be adequate in selectivity. The natural mortality rate and fishing mortality are estimated
