The refusal attitude to Physics of our secondary ievel pupils and the poor achievements obtained in our classrooms makes it indispensable to experiment new teaching styles. This paper shows a directed discovery approach to Physics learning that is conformed to academical needs of our Secondary Schools. The effectiveness of the learning process has been studied by means of an experimental design that compares two instructional modes. The results of the statistical analysis are discussed.
