In the context of the movements of the heroes, the connection between mythical journeys and Greek expansion outside their borders is evident, justifying the colonization of the new territories through myths. The research alludes to the important role played by some mythical women in these journeys, focusing on four of them who turned into topoi, Cirene, Dánae, Europe and Io.
