Arnau Aymar, capità i corsari de Mallorca (segles XIV-XV)
Arnau Aymar sirvió al rey en la defensa de los mares de Cerdeña y también a los papas de Aviñón durante el Cisma y a los Anjou, pretendientes al trono de Nápoles; durante esos servicios cometió algunos abusos, especialmente entre 1396 y 1404, en que actuó más bien como corsario. Participó en la expedición a Sicilia del infante Martín en 1392 y recibió el cargo de veguer forà, en Mallorca, en premio a sus servicios.
