Abstract

Las algas se han usado tradicionalmente en la alimentación humana, pero su utilización en la alimentación animal es todavía muy limitada. En este artículo se describen las características de diferentes macroalgas y se analiza su posible conservación mediante ensilado para establecer su potencial como materias primas alternativas para los animales rumiantes.
