Lactancia artificial en ovino y caprino

Abstract

[EN] This paper will deal with the productive-economic implications of the artificial rearing of lambs on the different sheep production systems (for meat or milk production, in extensive or intensive systems, etc.) Guidelines for a correct artificial rearing, such as the energy and protein requirements, optimal time to remove the lambs from the mother, the administration of the calostrum, the composition of the milk replacement (origin and concentration of the constituents), the temperature at which these should be offered to the lambs, the level of intake, etc. will be discuss.
