Abstract

[EN] This paper presents the results of a study of antifouling paints in the harbour of Barcelona. The firsts section is a general description of the hidrography of the sea waters of the harbour. Reports on the salinity, temperature, oxygen, inorganic phosphate, pH and pigments of phytoplankton content in one station, which position is given in the chart. The second section includes a study of the properties of 27 formulas of antfouling paints, in which Cu2= was replaced by organic lead compunds. The third section list the most important fouling organims observed in the summerged panels. [...]
