La sardina, Sardina pilchardus (Walb.), del golfo de Cádiz

Abstract

[ES] En el período comprendido de 1958 a 1964 y posteriormente 1969 fueron estudiadas 3811 sardinas, capturadas desde la Punta de Gracia, cerca del Estrecho de Gibraltar, hasta Chipiona, cerca de la desembocadura del río Guadalquivir, por la flota pesquera de Brbate. [...] En la figura 1 se señala la zona de captura de la sardina estudiada y capturada por la flota pesquera de Barbate. Las profunidades de agua en las que se verifican estas capturas suelen estar comprendidas entre 35 y 90 metros, aproximadamente . [...]

[EN] The biology of sardines, Sardina pilchardus (Walb.), from Gulf of Cadiz (South Atlantic coast of Spain) is studied from catches by the fishing fleet of Barbate. 3811 sardines were studied during the years 1958 to 1964 and 1969. [...]
