[EN]: A group of researchers from ICTAN (CSIC) have developed a classification method to discriminate the quality of lberian pig meat based on the different animal feeding patterns employed (bellota, recebo, extensive and intensive feeding). This is important in view of the large price differences encountered in the market depending on the availability of acorn diets or other types of food. Our results indicate that feeding patterns employed in the lberian pig meat market should be reduced to only two types: bellota and intensive feeding.
