[Introducción]: Dentro de los alimentos con potencial efecto frente a la obesidad y sus comorbilidades, se encuentran algas y legumbres. En este sentido, estudios previos in vitro de nuestro laboratorio realizados con harina de algarroba (Ceratonia siliqua l) y alga wakame (Undaria pinnatifida), han demostrado la utilidad de la combinación de ambas frente a la acumulación de triglicéridos e inflamación.
