Abstract

[EN] 32 samples collected in superficial waters, with a net of silk gauze (4.900 meshes /sq. cm.) towed above grounds of 20-120 meters were analyzed. Table I gives the composition of samples, symbols are roughly proportional to the relative number of cells, as follows: 5 = 100 and more, 4 = 60, 3 = 30, 2 = 10, 1 = 1, + = isolate specimen. Data combined to monthly means and always referred to a constant number of dinoflagellate cells are reported in fig. 2, that also ineludes the data corresponding to the previous year (continuous line). Observaciones generales.- Las muestras estudiadas forman la continuación de la serie analizada en una publicación anterior (Margalef, 1951 a) y les son aplicables las observaciones de carácter general que se insertan en el trabajo citado (págs. 49-51). Recordaremos que han sido obtenidas en aguas superficiales (5-15 m.) y costeras, mediante una red de 70 mallas por crn. lineal, y gracias a la eficaz colaboración de diversas embarcaciones de la flota pesquera de Castellón.
