Abstract

[EN] The bathymetric distribution and abundance of cephalopods from the Catalan Sea (NE Spain) are analyzed. The material was taken from 105 trawls carried out from June 1981 to June 1982 between Cape Creus and the Ebro delta. [...] Sepia elegans, Sepia orbignyana, Allotheuthis media, Loligo vulgaris, Illex coindetii, Octopus vulgaris, Eledone cirrhosa, Sepia officinalis, Rossia macrosoma, Neorossia caroli, Sepiolinae, Allotheuthis subulata, Onychoteuthis banksii, Ancitroteuthis lichtensteini, Histioteuthis bonnelli, Histioteuthis reversa, Todarodes sagittatus, Octopus salutti, Pteroctopus tetracirrhus, Scaergus unicirrhus, Eledone moschata, Bathypolipus sponsalis [...]

[ES] El objetivo dei presente trabajo es analizar la distribución y abundancia de los cefalópodos que fueron capturados en ei mar Catalán desde junio de 1981 a junio de 1982. El material procede de 105 pescas efectuadas a profundidades que oscilaron entre 4 m y 832 m, en la zona comprendida entre el cabo de Creus y el delta dei Ebro (NE de España). Fueron clasificadas 21 especies pertenecientes a 7 subfamilias; sólo se llegó a nivel de subfamilia en el caso de Sepiolinae. [...]
