Abstract

[Es]: Uno de los principios básicos en la docencia práctica en los laboratorios de Química en nuestra Facultad es alcanzar el objetivo “cero accidentes”. Hemos detectado que existe un vacío absoluto en la formación de los estudiantes preuniversitarios relacionado en temas de seguridad en los laboratorios, por lo que es necesario hacerles conocedores de unas normas básicas para su buen trabajo en el laboratorio y evitar riesgos innecesarios en el desarrollo de su aprendizaje. En universidades de prestigio, como la Universidad de California (Berkeley), los alumnos tienen que realizar una prueba “on line” en materia de seguridad antes de acceder por vez primera a los laboratorios. Este proyecto surge como consecuencia de una reunión entre los coordinadores de titulaciones y equipo de gobierno de nuestra Facultad en aras de conseguir una mayor seguridad para nuestros alumnos desde su acceso a los laboratorios químicos.

[EN]: One of the basic principles in practice teaching in chemical laboratories in our Faculty is to reach the goal of “zero accidents”. We detected that there is an absolute vacuum in the formation of pre-university students related to safety issues in laboratories, so it is necessary to make them familiar with the basic rules for their good work in the lab and avoid unnecessary risks in the development of their learning. In prestigious universities, including the University of California (Berkeley), students have to perform an “on line” safety test before first access to laboratories. This project arises from a meeting between the coordinators and government team qualifications in our Faculty in order to achieve greater safety for our students from access to chemical laboratories.
