[ES] Se comentan, de forma sucinta, los grupos más importantes del zooplancton, estudiados en las dos grandes áreas de afloramiento de las costas atlánticas africanas (Cabo Blanco y Benguela), junto con unas notas sobre algunos trabajos realizados en el Golfo de Guinea. Las investigaciones, que en un principio tuvieron una base puramente sistemática, han ido complementándose en estas ultimas décadas con estudios sobre la biomasa, la fisiología y diversos aspectos ecológicos del plancton que permiten establecer comparaciones entre ecosistemas sometidos a un afloramiento prácticamente continuo, como es el Cabo Blanco, con otros de período más breve, como son los del Golfo de Guinea
