Abstract

[ES] Esta expedición que comenzó y concluyó en el puerto de Cádiz, se verificó del 19 de junio al 16 de julio de 1972 y la zona de mar investigada tuvo por límites (fig. 1) las costas orientales y sur de la península Ibérica y las del norte y occidentales de Marruecos, siendo las coordenadas geográficas límites entre las cuales se establecieron estaciones de estudio las siguientes: Para el océano Atlántico: entre los paralelos 32º 50'N y 36º 55'N y meridianos 9º 20'W y 6º 0'W. Para el mar MIediterráneo: entre los paralelos 35º 06'N y 38º 23'20" N y meridianos 5º 18´W y 0º 04´E. Además se estudiaron cuatro estaciones en el estrecho de Gibraltar entre los meridianos 5º 20´W y 5º 55´W. [...]

[EN] During 19 June to 16 July 1972 aboard of the spanish oceanographic ship "Cornide de Saavedra" we explored the possible spawning areas of Thunnus Thynnus (L.) in both sides of Strait of Gibraltar, for which we studied 111 stations : 47 in the Atlantic Ocean, 4 in the Strait of Gibraltar and 60 in the Mediterranean Sea (Figures 1 to 6 and Table I).
