[ES]: El presente artículo propone una revisión historiográfica sobre el tratamiento que ha recibido en la investigación reciente la participación de la población indígena en la construcción y hábitat de los recintos y fortificaciones ciclópeas de la comarca de La Serena (Badajoz). Valiéndonos de la crítica histórica como metodología, proponemos la búsqueda de señas de identidad étnica y cultural de estas gentes, a través de los repertorios materiales y otras fuentes como la epigrafía, la numismática y el análisis arqueológico del paisaje.
[EN]: The present article proposes a historiographical review on the treatment they have received in the recent research the participation of the indigenous population in the construction and habitat of the cyclopean enclosures and fortifications of the county of La Serena (Badajoz). Drawing on the historical-critical methodology we propose as the search of signs of ethnic and cultural identity of these people through the repertoires materials and other sources like epigraphy, numismatic and archaeological landscape analysis.
