The authors regret that an error in the calculation of rhizome biomass per square meter led to a series of errors in Table 2 (variables affected: rhizome biomass, total biomass, rhizome + roots to shoot biomass ratio) and Table 3 (variables affected: total biomass, rhizome + roots to shoot biomass ratio). They are reproduced correctly in the corrigendum. These changes do not alter the conclusions greatly for the error affected equally the three reefs studied.
