Abstract

Se trata de un estudio biográfico sobre la figura del médico del siglo XIX, Anastasio Chinchilla Piqueras (1801-1867. Se le conoce fundamentalmente por su obra 'Anales Históricos de la Medicina en general y biográfico-bibliográficos de la española en particular'. El capítulo trata de situar a esta figura en su contexto histórico y social de su época.
