The iBook offers the results of an interdisciplinary research project about the human presence in the Island of Ons from prehistoric times to the present, conducted at the Institute of Heritage Sciences (Incipit). The book deals with questions about how, when and by whom the island was inhabited; what vestiges of human presence remain; how daily life is for the few people who permanently inhabit the island; or how tourism affects Ons.
