Extracción de compuestos bioactivos en hoja de Moringa

Abstract

La Moringa oleífera es una planta considerada como una de las más útiles y con múltiples beneficios. Se utiliza como materia prima en diferentes industrias, como la alimentaria, farmacéutica y cosmética. Una de sus características distintivas es que en sus hojas se acumulan altos contenidos de compuestos fenólicos, los cuales se investigan por sus propiedades biológicas. Este trabajo se realiza con el objetivo de extraer los polifenoles totales presentes en la hoja de Moringa. La extracción se realizó mediante diferentes técnicas, como la extracción convencional con agitación mecánica, la extracción asistida por ultrasonidos y la extracción con agua presurizada. Además se estudia el efecto de diferentes variables, como la temperatura, el disolvente utilizado y la relación soluto-disolvente.
