Eternal Legacies is a journalistic project specialising in the recovery and visibility of historical figures who have been forgotten or deliberately marginalised and silenced due to their gender, ethnicity or social context. Through a narrative podcast that combines interpretative storytelling and investigative journalism, this project comes up from the need to build a more inclusive and critical historical memory that provides new perspectives and encourages social reflection. The podcasting scene in Spain is currently in full expansion; however, although there are many entertainment and cultural proposals, there is no podcast that focuses specifically on the recovery and visibility of historical figures. This entrepreneurial initiative, whose legal form is that of a freelancer, is sustained through 3 sources of income: the insertion of advertising in Spotify and Apple Podcasts, the production of special episodes under the sponsorship of cultural institutions, and promotions on social networks (Instagram, TikTok and X). In addition, the funding is completed with public grants for entrepreneurship and the promoter's own contributions. The main objective of the project is to inform and raise awareness among the general public about the importance of recovering and valuing these forgotten stories, contributing to a fairer and more diverse understanding of the past.To this end, the communication channels will be mainly the digital podcasting platforms Spotify and Apple Podcasts, complemented by a website and profiles on social networks. Eternal Legacies is thus presented as an innovative and necessary proposal within cultural journalism and historical dissemination, committed to social justice and the reconstruction of a more plural and equitable memory.
