El període comprés entre el Baix Imperi i l’Antiguitat Tardana (ss. III-VIII dC) a la Plana de Castelló representa un moment d’impàs entre dos èpoques millor conegudes arqueològicament, com són l’època altimperial i l’andalusina. Aquest treball cerca fer una aproximació al tipus d’ocupació i aprofitament que va tindre la zona de Castelló en aquests segles mitjançant dos vessants arqueològiques: les dinàmiques poblacionals i les troballes numismàtiques.

The period between the Late Roman Empire and Late Antiquity (3rd-8th centuries AD) in the Plana de Castelló represents an impasse between two periods that are better known archaeologically, namely the Altimperial and the Andalusian periods.
