Abstract

Es profesor de educación artística en la Universitat de València. Docente en la Facultat de Magisteri. Doctor en Bellas Artes y licenciado en Música, en Bellas Artes y en Comunicación Audiovisual. Ha dirigido el proyecto Maestros y museos, en el que participan ocho universidades de cinco países. Presidente de AVALEM (Associació Valenciana d’Educadors de Museus i Patrimonis). Es miembro de ICOM-Unesco y director de la publicación EARI Educación Artística Revista de Investigación. Ha sido invitado a universidades de Cuba, Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Perú, Francia, Italia y Reino Unido. Ha publicado los libros Funció Plàstica de les Lletres, Art i Educació, Un Dia, Cultura Visual a Ontinyent, Apaga-la!, Museo Tipográfico Urbano, Maestros y museos, Ciudadana Letra, La ciudad y sus docentes. Miradas desde el arte y la educación, Transeducar. Arte, docencia y derechos lgtb, así como artículos en revistas especializadas, habiendo coordinado numerosas publicaciones dentro del ámbito del arte, la educación y los museos. Como artista visual ha presentado exposiciones con temáticas muy impregnadas por la tipografía y las caligrafías («Alfabet del Tixrant», «Alfabet de Jesucrist», «Alfabet d’Alexandre», «Alfabet de les Ciutats»), propuestas donde incorpora pintura, grabado, fotografía y video. Desarrolla el proyecto de fotografía «Letras de Ciudades» al tiempo que continúa con las exposiciones de la investigación artística «Mujeres Maestras», una muestra que se ha podido ver en Bruselas, Santiago de Chile, Montevideo, Colombia, Lima y varias ciudades españolas.
