El Teatro del Absurdo: un reflejo existencialista del mundo contemporáneo

Abstract

En el presente Trabajo de Final de Grado se realiza un estudio transversal en el que se relacionan la corriente dramática de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, el Teatro del Absurdo, con la filosofía existencialista francesa de Albert Camus y Jean-Paul Sartre, dentro de su contexto histórico. Además, de manera tangencial, encontramos un ejercicio de literatura comparada, al analizar dos obras de teatro de autores españoles, Miguel Mihura y Fernando Arrabal y, más ampliamente, la de un autor franco-rumano, Eugène Ionesco. El objetivo de este trabajo no es otro que el de mostrar la relación entre el Teatro del Absurdo con la filosofía existencialista y comprobar cómo se complementan en sus obras. De este modo veremos reflejado en el teatro el pensamiento de la época y las incertidumbres de la sociedad.
