La cultura corporativa como factor para ser un empleador atractivo

Abstract

Atraer y retener el talento ya no es una opción, sino una realidad. La sociedad ha cambiado, y a la hora de elegir un empleo tiene en cuenta otros aspectos más allá de una retribución económica. Las empresas también han cambiado, y cada vez son más las que comprenden la importancia de resultar atractivas no sólo ante sus consumidores, sino ante sus potenciales empleados. También son más empresas las que demuestran que cuidar a sus trabajadores tiene resultados positivos, tanto a corto como a largo plazo. Por ello, este trabajo muestra la relación que existe entre la cultura corporativa y un empleador atractivo. Veremos una breve evolución de la cultura corporativa, mostrando sus características, funciones y factores. Atenderemos su relación con otros intangibles, en concreto con la identidad corporativa. Además, observaremos la gestión y repercusión de este intangible, capaz de generar pertenencia y diferenciación. Por otro lado, revisaremos la aplicación de la cultura corporativa de aquellas empresas consideradas como excelentes lugares para trabajar. Con todo ello, entenderemos los beneficios de la cultura y su influencia a la hora de crear un empleador atractivo. De este modo, intentaremos determinar aquellos puntos clave que caracterizan a las empresas con una potente cultura corporativa.

Attracting and retaining talent is no longer an option, but a reality. Society has changed, and when it comes choosing a job, it takes into account other kind of aspects beyond economic retribution. Companies have also changed, and whenever they are more whom understand the point of being attractive to their costumers, and also their employees. There are also many companies that demonstrate the positive results of taking care of their employees, both short and long term. Therefore, this work shows the relationship that exists between the corporate culture and an attractive employer. We will see a brief evolution of the corporate culture, showing its characteristics, functions and factors. We will understand its relationship with other intangibles, specifically with the corporate identity. In addition, it observes the management and repercussion of this intangible, capable of generating belonging and differentiation. On the other hand, we will review the application of the corporate culture of those companies considered excellent places to work. With all this, we will understand the benefits of culture and its influence when creating an attractive company. In this way, we try to determine those key points that characterize companies with a powerfull corporate culture.
