El apego en rehabilitación

Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende subrayar la importancia de la teoría del apego en la rehabilitación en salud mental. Se recoge una breve introducción sobre la teoría del apego, su evaluación en el adulto y su relación con la salud mental y, en concreto, con la rehabilitación. A continuación se presenta un estudio de tipo descriptivo que evalúa el apego mediante la aplicación del Cuestionario de Bartholomew y Horowitz (Anexo 1) y el Cuestionario de Apego Adulto de Melero y Cantero (Anexo 2). Los cuestionarios se aplican a una población conformada por un grupo de 36 usuarios del Centro de Día Romareda (Zaragoza), 24 hombres y 12 mujeres, con una media de 40 años y con un perfil clínico predominante de clínica psicótica. Ambos cuestionarios reflejan un predominio de apego inseguro frente a apego seguro en la población a estudio. Los resultados se analizan mediante pruebas estadísticas para comparar las tipologías de apego encontradas según grupos y contrastar entre sí los cuestionarios. Finalmente, se llega a una reflexión sobre la identificación de un perfil de apego inseguro mayoritariamente alejado, y se relacionará la teoría del apego con el proceso de recuperación desde un marco teórico y sus posibles aplicaciones terapéuticas.
