Este proyecto de investigación consiste en el Trabajo Final del Máster Universitario en Investigación en Comunicación Social de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra. El objetivo general del presente es comprender cómo se integran las plataformas de microblogging en las estrategias de expansión narrativa transmedia, dentro del marco teórico de las plataformas (van Dijck, Fuchs, McLuhan, etc.), narrativas transmedia (Jenkins, Scolari) y la cultura de fans (Fiske, Jenkins, Hills). El proyecto plantea realizar los métodos mixtos que constan de revisión bibliográfica sistematizada, analítica web, análisis de contenido cualitativo, análisis semio-narratológico, y etnografía tanto virtual como tradicional a través de observación participante y entrevistas en profundidad.
This research project consists of the Final Work of the Master in Research in Social Communication of the Pompeu Fabra University. The present aims to understand how microblogging platforms are integrated into transmedia storytelling expansion strategies, within the theoretical framework of the platforms (van Dijck, Fuchs, McLuhan, etc.), transmedia storytelling (Jenkins, Scolari) and the fan culture (Fiske, Jenkins, Hills). The mixed methods are included, such as systematic literature review, web analytics, qualitative content analysis, semi-narratological analysis, and both virtual and traditional ethnography through participant observation and in-depth interviews.
