Análisis de los antecedentes históricos del registro de la propiedad : evolución del sistema español de publicidad inmobiliaria

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se realiza un análisis de los principales mecanismos de publicidad inmobiliaria que se pueden reconocer a lo largo de los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII en el territorio que hoy se conoce como España. A través de las principales reformas y creación de nuevos registros que acontecen a lo largo de estos siglos se podrá comprender la naturaleza de los problemas que surgen en cada etapa histórica. Se propone un recorrido a lo largo de las normativas y figuras más destacables de la evolución histórica de los registros de publicidad con especial atención a los aspectos que dificultaron el enraizamiento de un sistema registral eficaz hasta finales del siglo XIX. Además, se expone los motivos, casi siempre económicos, que provocan los cambios más importantes en esta materia, mediante el estudio de las circunstancias económicas y sociales asociadas a cada uno de estos momentos de reforma.
