Neste trabalho percorrem-se as personagens fundamentais na definição e desenvovlimento da 'perspectiva artificialis', desde o séc. XV até ao final do séc. XVI, momento onde o controle sobre este sistema de representação espacial se expressa em realizações arquitectónicas demonstrativas das suas potencialidades ilusionísticas.
