En este trabajo se analizan las murallas de la ciudad romano-visigoda de Begastri, desde el punto de vista histórico y arqueológico. Así mismo, se describen las características formales y técnicas constructivas, realizando un análisis comparativo y cronológico con otras fortifi caciones de la Península Ibérica y del Norte de África.

In this work the walls of the Roman-Visigothic city of Begastri are analyzed, from the historical and archaeological point of view. Likewise, the formal characteristics and construction techniques are described, making a comparative and chronological analysis with other fortifi cations of the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa.
