Este artículo pretende ofrecer nuevos acercamientos y perspectivas sobre la película Vértigo (1958) de Alfred Hitchcock, teniendo en especial consideración aquellos aspectos que se enmarcan dentro de los parámetros del deseo, la muerte y la religión. Para su desarrollo, se ha prestado especial atención al final de Vértigo, a la intertextualidad (literaria, mítica y fílmica), y a la Historia de la Medicina.
Abstract: This article aims to provide new insights and perspectives on Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock, under the general ideas of desire, death and religion. To develop such ideas special attention has been paid to the end of Vertigo, intertextuality (Literature, Myths, Films) and to the History of Medicine.
