Paratextos en diccionarios monolingües de ELE

Abstract

The information of dictionaries doesn’t limit to macrostructure and microstructure. We can find in their pages different texts that provides us other facts about the conception of the work (purpose, corpus selection criteria) and about their use (list of abbreviations, guide about the interpretation of the entries…); these parts of the megastructure are specially important in pedagogical dictionaries. Comparison of the different parts of the dictionaries will allow us to observe similarities and differences and, above all, it will help to stablish clear criteria for the selection of the work that suits better of the needs of each individual user.
